Sweet potatoes and breast cancer.

Breast cancer risk: Data about the relation with breast cancer risk was provided by one cohort. A nonsignificant protective effect was found in the highest quartile of consumption, though the trend indicated no association.

Breast cancer mortality: No data was found.

Conclusion: A nonsignificant protective effect was found. No evidence was found for an association between sweet potatoes and breast cancer.
