White vegetables and colorectal cancer.
Data about white vegetables was provided by 2 cohorts.
In one cohort of very small size, a nonsignificantly increased risk of colorectal cancer mortality was found of raw white pale vegetables consumption among women,
but not men (21). No association with colorectal cancer risk was found in the larger cohort (25).
Conclusion: No evidence was found to support the label of an association with white vegetables.
