Seaweed and lung cancer.

Lung cancer risk: Data about lung cancer risk was provided by one cohort (23). No association was found.
Lung cancer mortality: Data about lung cancer mortality was provided by 2 cohorts, one of which was of very small size (17, 26). A nonsignificant protective effect among women was found in both cohorts, and a significant protective effect among men was found in the larger cohort.

Conclusion: Some associations were found, but these were mostly nonsignificant. Inconclusive evidence was found for an association between seaweed and lung cancer.
