Seaweed and pancreatic cancer.

Pancreatic cancer risk: No data was found.

Pancreatic cancer mortality: Data about the relation with pancreatic cancer mortality was provided by 2 cohorts. Among men, a significant protective effect was found in one cohort (15), and a nonsignificant protective effect was found in the other cohort with very few cases.

Conclusion: Protective effects against pancreatic cancer death were found among men, but one cohort was of very small size, and included very few cases. Inconclusive evidence was found for an association between seaweed and pancreatic cancer.
